We work with clients to create games that meet their student's needs, enhance their modules, and work around their timetables

Here are some we have created so far

Power | Influence | Change

Our flagship game focuses on the fraught struggle against climate change.

Students work in teams, representing the leadership of:

  • The British government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero

  • BP, the energy giant

  • Gridserve, an electric charging station start-up

  • Just Stop Oil, the activist group

Over two or three days, they formulate a 10-year strategy to advance their organisation’s objectives - and then adapt, defend, and promote that strategy in the face of criticism from their competitors and the media. They are the public face of their organisation and must take responsibility for their decisions.

In Power | Influence | Change, students develop their leadership, team-working, and strategic thinking skills at the sharp end of a global problem with no easy solutions.

Power | Influence | Trade

The UK is pursuing trade deals with individual countries following Brexit. They have lined up potential agreements with China, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.

The rules about buying and selling goods and services have been agreed between the UK and each of these countries. However, there are disagreements over several sensitive political issues that are preventing the trade agreements from being signed.

To seal the deal, each country has flown in a crack negotiating team to get the deals over the line. The students are members of these negotiating teams. They set targets and define their red lines - and are assessed on their ability to achieve their goals without conceding more than their countries’ civilians would tolerate.

In Power | Influence | Trade, students develop their negotiating and influencing skills in an exciting and pressurised environment.

Power | Influence | Create

Channel 4, the British public broadcast television network, is commissioning new programming for broadcast on its channels. It has invited independent production companies to pitch exciting new ideas that align with Channel 4’s purpose and vision. The winners will be contracted to create their programming for broadcast by Channel 4.

The commission is for new factual and fiction programming that has ‘crossover’ appeal: it must engage an untapped audience segment as well as be suitable for primetime TV. The question is, who is that underserved audience segment and what are they passionate about? Students form their own production companies to tender for this exciting opportunity.

In Power | Influence | Create, students develop their entrepreneurship and communications skills, pushing their own boundaries in a highly creative and competitive industry.

Power | Influence | Disrupt

Set in a retail district in the UK that has struggled to weather the impact of Covid-19, the cost of living crisis, and the general economic downturn.

Businesses in the area are part of a powerful and influential business improvement organisation. Black Friday is approaching, which is a significant trading day for the financial and retail business communities. Just Stop Oil campaigners are planning significant disruption in the area. The area is emerging from the pandemic restrictions and this trading weekend is vital for its recovery.

Students work as members of the trade body, the police, and campaigners, to plot and plan a peaceful event that respects the rights and needs of all parties.

In Power | Influence | Disrupt, students develop their decision-making and crisis management skills in an emotive scenario that could erupt at any moment.
