We work with clients to create simulations that meet their student's needs, enhance their modules, and work around their timetables

Here are some we have created so far

Climate Crisis

‘A transformative experience that felt remarkably real, navigating real-world challenges as we worked to deliberate, debate, and shape the UK’s ever-evolving response to climate change.’ - Eda, Brunel University

Our flagship simulation, Climate Crisis gives students leadership roles in organisations battling to win in the marketplace of ideas about how to ‘solve’ climate change.

They start with a dire prediction: There will be 1 billion more people on the planet in 2035 and essential resources – like energy, food, healthcare, and public services – will be scarcer and more expensive. Rising levels of national debt, an ageing population, declining birth rates and low levels of economic growth mean most people in the UK will be poorer than they are today. And the UK will have less global influence, caught in the trade winds between superpowers of the East and West. But does it have to be this bad? And what should be the way forward – go green, or keep pumping gasoline? In their bid to keep Britain afloat, your students will create policy, strategy, and social media campaigns, poach new recruits from opposing teams, and negotiate alliances to supersize their impact, while braving the media, the whims of their bosses, and the ire of the public.

Skills focus: Research and analysis, making marketing videos, networking, job interviewing, debating

Trade Wars

‘This experience was fantastic and provided a really effective insight into the strategies, hard and soft skills, and challenges that characterise international negotiations.’ - Natasha, University of Birmingham

Our Trade Wars simulation puts students at the centre of our present-day geopolitical turmoil, representing governments hoping to strike deals with nations that have very different worldviews and values.

There is a lot to gain and a lot to lose: agreements must be struck to avert climate collapse, trade tariffs, and migratory mayhem. But this is not Model UN; it’s David vs Goliath, and the only way to win is by working as a team, with a well-honed negotiation strategy, and the ability to empathise and compromise with rivals. Your students will set targets and define their red lines – and be assessed on their ability to achieve their goals without conceding more than their countries’ civilians would tolerate. A strong stomach and an even stronger moral compass will help but cannot, unfortunately, be provided for them. But those that dare will emerge sharper, smarter, and tougher – and ready to apply for the best graduate jobs on the market.

Skills focus: Working effectively as a team with defined roles, setting goals, and using different negotiating tactics to achieve goals.

Ad Campaign

‘Developed our understanding of how to create compelling content, conduct market research and audience analysis, and ensure our pitch was backed by data and aligned with viewer preferences and trends.’ - Adriana, King’s Business School

Our Mad Men style simulation catapults students back in time to a world where AI doesn’t exist, where persuasion and creativity rule supreme, and where success is built on human ingenuity alone.

We recreate the advertising world of 1980s London when West End ad executives built iconic marketing campaigns using just their wits, imagination, and a deep understanding of human psychology. Your students will do the same – ditching their screens and embracing paper, pens, scissors, and glue to craft and pitch unforgettable ads for historic brands. They’ll delve into the human psyche to identify the universal themes that move people en masse, translate these insights into powerful messages, and ruthlessly whittle their ideas into a winning advertising concept. In the process, they’ll learn about the lost arts of mass marketing and storytelling, visual persuasion, and unbridled creativity.

Skills focus: Understanding consumers, the creative process, storytelling, pitching to camera, and presenting to clients

Net Zero

‘One of the best events I’ve ever attended, from collaborating with teammates to building professional relationships and engaging in insightful conversations.’ (Sohaib, University of Greenwich)

Our Net Zero simulation gives students the chance to win a £10-billion contract to help the UK reach carbon net zero by 2050.

An in-person spin on Civilization, the classic strategy game, Net Zero pits eight countries against one another in a bid to win a game-changing contract. In their national teams, students must look inwards – to assess their country’s strengths – as well as outwards – to decide how best to publicly critique the countries they’re competing with. What alchemy of traditional diplomacy, Machiavellian scheming, and visionary planning will a team need to win? Your students must convince a panel of experts that their proposal combines technological innovation, geographical advantage, cultural ties, and the lowest possible costs of production into a winning formula that addresses the unique challenges the UK faces.

Skills focus: Writing client-focused proposals, making marketing videos, networking, job interviewing, debating
